1.  WHERE DO WE SHIP FROM

Like Amazon, Discount Salsa Shoes ships all online orders directly from several warehouses to expedite your order.   All online orders being returned or exchanged must be shipped directly to the warehouse it was shipped from with the REQUIRED Authorization Form, unless item(s) were purchased in store.

3.  EXCHANGE POLICY

The Exchange Processing Fee(s) must be pre-paid before the REQUIRED Authorization Form can be released so that we can process and ship your exchange BACK to you. Customers are still responsible for shipping item(s) TO our warehouse.

IMPORTANT! 
If items are returned WITHOUT obtaining the REQUIRED Authorization Form, your exchange will be immediately treated as a “RETURN” and your balance minus the current Restocking Fee will be refunded as outlined in our Refund Policy.

  • An Authorization Form is REQUIRED using our online system ONLY.  General email requests unless you have a pre-order question, will be ignored.  Phone requests will be ignored.
  • Because we are now able to automate some of the exchange processes, we have a “One Request per Order Number per Vendor” policy.
  • Requests must be made within seven (7) days of receipt of delivery or item(s) can NOT be returned.  No Exceptions!
  • Once Authorization has been approved, Discount Salsa Shoes will charge the credit card on file for any additional cost(s) associated with the request (ex: request item cost more than the original item).
  • Our warehouse must have the items received within seven (7) days of the Authorization Form date.
  • Shoes suspected to be defected (ex: heel comes loose) and have obvious signs of excessive wear can not be exchanged.
  • Item(s) received damaged, worn and/or soiled, risk either being trashed or shipped back to you at your own expense at the discretion of Discount Salsa Shoes.
  • Customers agree and understand by placing an order with Discount Salsa Shoes, that it is their responsibility to log into their accounts to check current order status and that email notifications are considered a courtesy.
  • Customers can request that we use their personal Shipping Accounts, but the pre-paid shipping must be made first.  If we can verify the shipping account and ship using your account, we will refund the pre-paid shipping.  Shipping Account must be in Customer’s name and not an employer’s account.
  • Cancellations must be made PRIOR to shipping.

4.  RETURN POLICY

Unfortunately, returning dance shoes and dancewear is stricter than normal retail returns/exchanges.  Besides being a health risk, most online stores and storefronts are “mom and pop” stores. In order to stay competitive, and offer low prices, stores simply can not absorb these additional fees from our manufacturers like normal retailers. Products are discounted so low that, unfortunately, Discount Salsa Shoes can NOT absorb these charges on refunds/exchanges/returns.

  • An Authorization Form is REQUIRED using our online system ONLY. General email requests unless you have a PRIOR question, will be ignored.  Phone requests will be ignored.
  • Because we are now able to automate some of the return processes, we have a “One Request per Order Number per Vendor” policy.
  • Requests must be made within seven (7) days of receipt of delivery or item(s) can NOT be returned.  No Exceptions!
  • Returns are subject to an $10.00 restocking fee per item minus any shipping and handling costs.  A 20% restocking fee on accessories minus any shipping and handling costs.
  • If you received a discounted rate on your original order because you purchased several items, that discount amount will be adjusted to the items you have chosen to keep. For example, if you ordered three (3) pairs of shoes at a discounted rate of $47.99, but decided to return one pair, your new adjusted total is $29.99 minus the $10 restocking fee minus any possible handling fees for an estimated refund total of $19.99.  We HIGHLY recommend confirming sizes or processing an exchange instead.
  • Our warehouse must have the items received within seven (7) days of the Authorization Form date for credit to apply.

5.  REFUND POLICY

  • Refunds for authorized returns will be issued within thirty (30) days of processing merchandise (minus the restocking fee(s), bulk discount adjustments, postage fee(s) and S&H fee(s)).
  • Any item returned AFTER seven (7) days of date of Authorization Form without prior consent, will receive store credit (minus the restocking fee(s), postage fee(s) and S&H fee(s)).

FINAL SALE / NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following are items that are NON-RETURNABLE/NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-EXCHANGEABLE and considered “Final Sale”.

  • Worn / Soiled Item(s).
  • Exchanges / Returns Received AFTER time outlined above.
  • PortDance Dance Shoes.
  • Custom / Made-to-Order Items Including Very Fine Boots.
  • Stockings & Leotards. 
  • Shipping and Handling / Processing Fees.

6.  STORE CREDITING SYSTEM

  • Each NEW account to a UNIQUE person (includes email and billing information) will receive a $5 instant credit off your first order of $80 or MORE and you only have 24 hours to use it.  Any credit(s) not used within their time frame are null and void and can not be applied.
  • Any credits NOT applied during time of checkout, will be available for your next purchase and can not be applied after transaction is finalized.
  • Discount Salsa Shoes may cancel this program at any time without notice without any balances owed.
  • Balances can not be exchanged for cash and Discount Salsa Shoes can use it’s discretion to cancel any customer’s account if that account is found fraudulent.
  • Any duplicate accounts will be consolidated, and the $5 credit will be deducted from balance.
  • Any negative balances will need to be paid prior to placing an order.

7.  OUT OF STOCK ITEMS / BACK ORDERS / CANCELLATIONS

  • Customers agree that Discount Salsa Shoes will use its discretion to either back order or refund any item(s) out of stock.
  • Customers must specify at the time of checkout if they have specific instructions on how they want out of stock items handled.
  • All Back Orders will be charged on the day order is placed with manufacturer to insure item is reserved for customer.
  • Back Orders will take approximately 6-8 weeks to ship.  Allow additional time for shipping well.  If an item is out of stock, that means it is out of stock with the manufacturer.  DSS recommends that if you want a particular style of shoe and it is out of stock, back ordering it is the only way to get this style no matter which authorized dealer you purchase from.
  • Customers agree and understand by placing an order with Discount Salsa Shoes, that it is their responsibility to log into their accounts to check current order status and that email notifications are considered a courtesy.
  • Cancellations must be made PRIOR to shipping.

8.  CUSTOM ORDERS

  • Custom Orders are FINAL SALE.  NO EXCEPTION!
  • Customers will be charged on the day order is placed with vendor to initiate directions received by customer.
  • Once order is placed with vendor, customers can NOT cancel since the manufacturer has set aside the materials for the order.
  • Custom orders including Very Fine Boots take our manufacturer six (6) weeks to make.  Please allow additional time for shipment.
  • Customers agree and understand by placing an order with Discount Salsa Shoes, that it is their responsibility to log into their accounts to check current order status and that email notifications are considered a courtesy.

9.  DAMAGED OR WRONG ITEM

Our deepest apologies if you received a damaged or wrong item. The state of your shoes as well as their history are documented prior to shipping but some mishaps can still slip by.

  • Worn and/or Soiled shoes can NOT be exchanged or returned under any circumstance.
  • A photo of the issue is required to support your claim and will help us understand how to address the issue.
  • Shipping will only be provided on LIKE items (SAME style, color, heel, size, etc…).
  • “FIT” issues like material “rubbing ” or “long straps” do NOT constitute as damaged.
  • Restocking Fee(s) apply on all Returns.
  • CONTACT US with issue WITHIN 48 HOURS of Order Delivery Date on file.

10.  SHIPPING

  • Allow 1-2 Business Days to process all orders.
  • UPS Ground Shipping is included with your initial order.
  • UPS Ground Shipping takes about 5-7 Business Days, weather permitting.
  • Express Shipping is through UPS 2nd Day only and non-refundable.
  • Shipping on returns and exchanges are NOT paid by Discount Salsa Shoes.
  • If you order is set to “Processing” please allow 5-7 days to receive your shipment.
  • GFranco & Burju are shipped USPS Priority.  Please allow 2-3 Business Days.
  • PortDance are shipped USPS International.  Please allow 2-8 weeks to clear customs.
  • If an item is “Undeliverable”, “Unclaimed” or “Rejected” and returned back to our warehouse, it is automatically treated as a return subject to a restocking fee(s) plus a $10 handling fee.

All size charts and fit suggestions are recommendations only.  We can not assume to know every foot type.  We provide as much information about each style of shoe as we possibly can.  Recommendations and fit advice are not guaranteed and are taken at the risk of the Customer.  All policies still apply.

12.  DISPUTES

We HIGHLY recommend that you contact Discount Salsa Shoes PRIOR to filing any dispute with your credit card company.  Any unjust disputes as well as threats will be a cause for immediate termination of your account with Discount Salsa Shoes.

13.  PRICING AND TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS

In the event that a product on our site is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect product information due to typographical error or an error in pricing or product information supplied by our vendors, Discount Salsa Shoes reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for such product. Further, Discount Salsa Shoes shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase of items with erroneous pricing or product information, and Discount Salsa Shoes cancels this order, Discount Salsa Shoes will issue a FULL credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. The above policies, statements, and site content are subject to change upon the discretion of Discount Salsa Shoes.  Discount Salsa Shoes may suspend and/or block an account it deems to be in violation of its policies.
